A rare collection of 65 photographs showing the exiles of the Irgun and Lehi in the Sembel camp in Asmara, Eritrea [c- 1945].
The photos show the exiles in sports competitions held in the camp, the gymnastics exercises, their rooms, the leisure time in the camp, various group photographs (in which the detainees are seen waving the Israeli flag) and more.
Provenance: Estate of Irgun member Yehuda Naor.
