A collection of 32 Yugoslav pins commemorating partisan fighters, historical events, and national heroes from World War II, primarily from the period of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Most are made of metal (some are Golden), including rare examples.
Among the pins: a dark metal pin featuring a decoration of mountains and fighters commemorating the 7th Brigade of Yugoslav partisans (Banja Division), marking the battle of 22.11.1944 in Podsisa; a pin bearing the emblem of the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia with the inscription “OTADZBINA” – “Homeland”; a gold-plated pin with the portrait of fighter Ivo Lola Ribar, who most strongly symbolizes the Yugoslav resistance, killed in 1943 and became an inspirational figure for all partisan fighters. Also included are pins depicting legendary partisan figures, a commemorative pin with a ribbon in the colors of the Yugoslav flag, emblems of partisan brigades, monuments, and national events held in memory of the anti-fascist resistance, and more.
