ORDNUNGSSRTAFE – Punishment. penalty Card No. 2242 issued to Jews for “disturbing” public order in the Lodz ghetto.
The card has various ‘accusation’ clauses: manifestations of opposition, disturbance of public order, violation of sanitation regulations, exorbitant food prices, or forgery of food prices. A Jew who violated one of the sections received the ‘fine’ card, and the punishment.
Cards of this type are extremely rare, and almost never preserved.
