A wedding ring from the Lodz ghetto, made of light metal and engraved: LITZMANNSTADT. [Lodz] Diameter: 2 cm. 1930s or early 1940s.

The ring was kept by a family of Polish Holocaust survivors. Stojewcz worked in the same factory, and she deposited the ring with her in order to get rid of some Jewish symbol when she planned to flee the ghetto from the terror of the Nazis.
Attached is a piece of paper with the names of Greenfeld and Stojewicz in the context of the ring were written by the depositor late husband next to the ring.

Diameter: 2.1 cm. Good condition.
