“Land Without Property…” – An Antisemitic Pamphlet Accusing Jews of Plundering and Taking Control of All Soviet Capital. Serbia, c. 1930s.

The author attacks the Jews with the accusation that they created communism for personal economic interest:: “Lenin knew that for communists, their foundation is not faith but malice, malice and hatred, and therefore this hatred and envy can be used to destroy the existing national, spiritual, and social order. Thus, his first decree as head of the communist government implementing the law abolishing private property was: ‘Seize and plunder!’ The frenzied mob received this slogan with the greatest enthusiasm. In the shortest time, everything in Russia was robbed and looted…”. The author unleashes unrestrained hatred, blaming Jews for taking over Russian cultural assets while workers and peasants starve: “The worst criminals and outcasts, led by Jews, moved into the historical palaces where the nation’s most precious monuments were preserved. Those objects of historic importance, the pride of the Russian people, disappeared immediately. Shortly after, these objects appeared in foreign markets to decorate the luxurious palaces of American and European Jewish capitalists… While workers and peasants starved, in rags, while their families suffocated in cramped and unhealthy huts, leaders and senior party officials feasted in grandeur alongside their companions, living in the imperial palaces of the Kremlin. Abroad, ‘proletarian’ ambassadors and consuls organize truly bourgeois banquets. Castles for Jews! The famous Soviet Foreign Minister, the Jew Litvinov-Finkelstein, transferred enormous amounts of gold and silver to Swiss and American banks – for safekeeping. In Moscow itself, he owns a villa, the famous arched Morozov mansion, filled with precious art collections, paintings, and furniture.”
The pamphlet further accuses Trotsky of living a life of luxury at the expense of the proletariat: “The former Soviet dictator, Trotsky-Bronstein the Jew, who before the revolution was a provincial newspaper reporter in Rome, roamed from one end of the world to the other, led a life of luxury, bought villas and cars, and maintained a large number of bodyguards. Where did this come from? Stalin, Kalinin, Kaganovich, and other proletarian leaders own luxurious villas with beautiful parks. Villas and cars for Jews! Jews and communists, the leading figures in the Soviet Union, receive houses and cars as gifts from the government. Special palaces with luxuriously furnished apartments are built for senior officials. They all own villas where they spend summers outside the city. They commute to their offices in luxury cars . The enormous salaries of individual factory managers, unimaginable even to capitalists, allow them to live lives of luxury… Salaries reached up to 40,000 rubles per month, while a proletarian worker, in a state supposedly ruled by the proletariat, earned only 160 rubles a month. Workers and roofs! While private property exists in the Soviet Union, it belongs only to the Jewish communists, who own palaces and luxury cars, while the worker has become a slave, starving, exhausted, dying in government apartments and filthy, overcrowded huts, sharing the fate of the 18 million other workers exiled to Siberia.”
