المصور AL-MUSWAR – An important collection of 25 issues of the Egyptian weekly “The Photographer” from 1926-1927. The newspaper’s photographers, Emil and Shukrei Zeidan, brought to the Egyptian public the important political and cultural events in Egypt in dozens of photographs that appeared in each issue. The shape of the newspaper and its contents had a wide-ranging influence all over the world, even outside Egypt and it was considered a Groundbreaking at the time, and even the Hebrew press of those years used to quote and bring photographs that were published in it.
The weekly brought to the Egyptian public: news, reports, and cultural sections. Dozens of photos of the major weekly events were published in each issue. In the collection before us appear many historical issues.
