ARREST REPORT - Arrest report of Gestapo soldier Fritz Hans Otto in Berlin on May 12, 1945. The Nazi soldier was arrested by the SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) immediately after the end of the war.
A note appears: "Property taken from the detainee is listed behind with the location of any other relevant property" and "additional details will be recorded behind if necessary", and a declaration that "the military leadership takes custody of the detainee". The date on the arrest form is just four days after the official date World War II ended!
