An album of black and white images documenting the horrors of Auschwitz. At the end of the album, a final note from Seweryna Szmaglewska – an Auschwitz survivor, who testified at the Nuremberg trials. Here she tells her story as a prisoner in Auschwitz from the day she arrived at the camp, and describes at length the most harsh period in Auschwitz – the time when the mass murders took place.
