Liberation de la France 1944 – ANGLO – AMERICAINES – Liberation of France, Anglo-Americans. A cut-out cardboard board depicting the liberation of France from Nazi occupation—Allied soldiers are shown shooting down a Nazi Stuka aircraft and overpowering Wehrmacht soldiers with rifles, tanks, and bombs. On the right and left are the flags of the United States, France, and Britain. The illustrations were done by Jean (signed in the plate), published by Culture & Patrimoine. France, 1944.

Paris was liberated from Nazi occupation by the Allied forces in August 1944. That same month, many souvenirs commemorating the liberation were released, bringing new hope for victory and the end of the war throughout the rest of Europe.
