21 photographs from the detention camps on Cyprus – 1948.
An interesting collection of photographs documenting Zionist and social activity within the camp during Israel’s independence year. Among them: the flag raising ceremony, parenting dances in the gospel of Israel’s independence – raising signs: “we have the country and we for country”, sports competition, wedding in the camp, gathering to hear the camp commander, group photos, cultural events, Zionist groups, and more.
Most of the photos size: 9×7 cm. Some are larger or smaller. The photos are handwritten in the back. Overall very good condition.
