Dachau – “Never Again.” A Photo Album in Memory of the Victims of the Dachau Death Camp, Published Shortly After the War. The album contains 10 postcard-format photographs, with descriptions in three languages – French, German, and English on the page opposite each photograph. The album was published as part of the “Never Again!” exhibition held in Dachau in 1950.
The photographs depict scenes from the camp, including the crematoriums and early memorial gravestones within the camp grounds in memory of the victims. The first page displays the clothing tags used to categorize prisoners in the camp, such as political prisoners, Jews, criminals, and others. On the back of the album is an official ink stamp: GERMANY DACHAU EXHIBITION NEVER AGAIN.
