Dror was a pioneering Zionist-socialist youth movement that operated in Europe before the Holocaust, and with renewed vigor after it. Following the war, many members of Dror took active roles in the DP camps, especially in southern Germany. The movement promoted Zionist education, youth rehabilitation, preparation for Aliyah and Aliyah Bet to Eretz Israel, and the establishment of kibbutzim. The journal typically included ideological articles, news from the movement, documentation of activities, poems, Holocaust testimonies, political discussions, and calls for immigration.
