6 postcards and 2 photographs depicting the Jews of Eastern Europe in their traditional dress. Various places, early 20th century.

Postcards: Jews from Krakow, father and son – postcard published by J. Horowitz – Chernivtsi Ukraine, a large group of Jews in a market in the town of Auschwitz (Poland, the town near which the infamous extermination camp was established during the Holocaust Auschwitz. Postcard sent to Vienna in 1908), Jewish type A beggar from Russia, a Polish rabbi (sent by mail in 1901), two Jews in traditional dress – a postcard from a series of Russian-Polish types – on the back of the postcard a long inscription, sent by mail in 1918.
