* Davar newspaper, May 8, 1945, entitled: “Victory Day in Europe” – an end to the enemy of man and the oppressor of the Jews. Glory to the victorious armies and dear to the fallen – a remembrance of the vast fallen of the nation. A subsequent tear in the bottom of the newspaper 26 c.m long, without damaging the text.

* Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, May 8, 1945, entitled: “The declaration of Churchill by the Germans that they will continue to fight, a minute after midnight, will be outlawed”, headline Page 2: “Victory Day – Remembrance Day.”

* May 7, 1945 issue of the ‘Miami Daily News Record’, entitled “GERMANY QUITS”.

* Issue of the newspaper ‘PARADE’ dated April 14, 1945 is entitled: “The last race is on” – On the title page Winston Churchill walks on the ruins of buildings that were attacked in the war. The inside pages depicts a Passover seder of Jewish soldiers, with rare photographs of the seder, and extensive articles on the end of the war.
