The travel diary of the author from Naples to Palestine via Egypt on the ship ‘Queen Margarita’ which began on March 12, 1898. Each passage in the book is dated. As soon as the journal was published, it marked a new path for many women and represented the ‘free time culture’ of women at the end of the 19th century when traveling away from their country of residence became more and more acceptable for women. In her diary, she writes recommendations for tourists coming to Palestine, and descriptions of landscapes, people, and customs in Eretz Israel.
