Hidushey HaR”n – Rabbi Nissim Girondi, on Tractate Bava Metzia. For the first time from a manuscript that was stored with Rabbi Zabel [Eiger], a relative of Rabbi Akiva Eiger. With the consent of Rabbi Akiva Eiger, who confirms that the manuscript is indeed of the the R”N.

In this edition came for the first time scholarly notes (printed in square brackets) by Rabbi Akiva Eiger. At the end of the book, sixteen pages of Torah innovations by Rabbi Akiva Eiger, ‘Haluka Derabanan’ – these innovations are the first Torah innovations that Rabbi Akiva Eiger submitted to print in his life. Also included in this edition Torah innovations from the Gaon Leib Eiger the Rabbi of Halberstadt, and Torah innovations from the Gaon Rabbi Zabel Eiger the Rabbi of Brunswick.
