Rabbi Yitzchak Meir HaCohen Schwartz [1866-1936], rabbi of the Dragomirsht community (Marmoresh district) and author of books, after whom the “Imrei Yitzchak” is named. Born to Rabbi Naftali Schwartz, author of “Beit Naftali”, descendant of the author of “Kuntras HaSfeykot”. Since 1872, he has lived in the village of Dragomiresht where his father-in-law lived and served as the town’s informal rabbi. In 1903 he was appointed rabbi and dayan of the town and served in that position until his death.
