A long introduction by the author about the historical importance of the city of Jerusalem in all periods, and for all religions. The main part of the book deals with the historical sites visited by the author in ancient Jerusalem – the Wall, Jehoshaphat Valley, the Hezekiah Pool, the Temple Mount and the borders of the wall surrounding it, as well as Rachel’s Tomb and Bethlehem and other places. Most of the photographs and engravings cover on an entire page.
