Ownership inscription on the title page: “The humble Avraham Meir.” Early stamps of “The New Beit Midrash in Kazimierz, here in the holy community of Kraków, year [1841].”
[2], 2-49 leaves. 32 cm. Cardboard binding. Spine in leather. Stains on some leaves. Good condition. On the final page appears an engraving of a Phoenix (mythical bird) rising from flames. Various interpretations have been offered as to why this illustration was chosen to conclude the book.
