Keychain of two large and massive keys with Magen Davids at their heads connected by an iron ring, which served for the doors of a synagogue. Eastern Europe, 18th century.
Keys of this type served for the entrance door or gate of the synagogue [a similar key was found under the ruins of the synagogue of the Maharsha in the city of Ostroh in Ukraine]. Typical of synagogues in the area of Russia Ukraine.
Length: 25 cm. The width of the Magen David at their heads 7 cm. Good condition. Rusty keys and iron ring.
