Konica Movie Camera (Konishiroku Photo Ind. Co., Ltd.) Model Super8-3TL for 9.5-28mm Film Format. C. 1950s. A Japanese-made Konica movie camera featuring a Konica V-Hexanon lens. Includes the original leather case and a tax sticker (Israel).

The camera is equipped with what appears to be an automatic or semi-automatic exposure adjustment system, a cutting-edge innovation of its time. During World War II, Japan restricted the export of these cameras, which became more widely available after the war, particularly in East Asian countries. Movie cameras of this period were primarily used for propaganda, personal documentation, or professional filmmaking.
