Eliezer “Eli” Wiesel [1928-2016] Journalist, philosopher, intellectual and Romanian-Jewish writer Holocaust survivor. Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on human rights (1986). Engaged in educational activities to commemorate the memory of the Holocaust and prevent murders with others around the world.
