Typed Letter with a Handwritten Addition and Signature by Menachem Ussishkin in Support of Strengthening the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in Sweden. Stockholm, October 11, 1923.
A letter sent by Menachem Ussishkin to Dr. Ahrenfries, in which he explains that despite the difficult living conditions in Sweden, there is still room for JNF activities. He writes: “We are assured that among the Jews of Sweden, there are still those who will contribute to the JNF.”
At the bottom of the letter, Ussishkin adds a personal handwritten note:
“My friend! I have fully immersed myself in the work of the JNF, the first and dearest institution to us. I hope that all my old friends will assist me in elevating the JNF to the highest level, and I also await your support.”
