Mantle for Torah Scroll . Eretz Israel, 19th century.
The center embroidered a pair of lions, the Tabernacles and the Torah crown, the Western Wall, flower decorations, and the caption: ” Yaakov Shalom son of Avraham Yitzhak z’l and his wife Sheydanil the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Yosef z’l”. [Embracing the word “z’l” was made in a later period after their passing].
