Salomon Heine Bronze Medal. Hamburg 1841.
A medal on the occasion of the construction of the Jewish Hospital in Hamburg, sponsored by Salomon Heine’s uncle of Heinrich Heine. Salomon built the hospital and dedicated it to his late wife Betty Heine. The new hospital served as a replacement for the old private hospital of the city whose condition was in bad shape in those days.
