Metal plate of a Jewish municipal inspection vehicle in Toulouse, France, c. 1930s. Rare.
On the plate are engraved letters: “M. PARISOT Rone expest fiscal 12 alloe des Soupirs TOULOUSE”, and a red Star of David. Probably was used as a municipal inspection vehicle, or some kind of Jewish aid vehicle. Such plates were attached to the inside of the vehicle to the side of the driver’s seat.
