Michael Jordon [b. 1963] The best player in the history of basketball. Jordan joined the Chicago Bulls in 1984, and with in a short time became one of the most prominent stars in the best league in the world. His exceptional jumping ability earned him the nickname “Air Jordan”. In 2015, in light of his exceptional achievements and contribution to basketball, Jordan joined the FIBA hall of fame, and in 2016 U. S. president Barack Obama gave him the presidential medal of freedom, the nation’s highest honor.
