Mitzvat HaShem on 613 Mitzvot HaTorah by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch MiSkahel, bound with “Schiyot Hemdah” Thessaloniki 1887, [Ladino] – the copy of the Mekubal Rabbi Shalom Hadaya. His signature on the protective page, on the first and second pages of the book, as well as on the title page of “Schiyot Hemdah”.

The Genius Rabbi Shalom Hadaya [1864-1945], Dayan and Kabalist, head of the Kabbalist Yeshiva of Bethel and one of the great scholars of Aram Tsuba and Jerusalem. In his youth he studied with Rabbi Moshe Swede, Rabbi Yitzchak Bechor Mizrahi – the father of the Aram Tsuba Tribunal and Rabbi Rafael Yaakov Chaim Israel Alfia. In 1887 he visited Eretz Israel and hosted the first to mark Rabbi Ya’akov Shaul Elisher at his home. In 1904 he was appointed judge and teacher of justice at the Sephardi Judgment Court in Jerusalem, and in 1930 was appointed head of the court of the Sephardic congregations in Jerusalem. He served in this capacity until his death. He studied in a group of Kabbalists in the Beit El Kabbalah seminary, with Rabbi Sasson bachar Moshe Presiado and Rabbi Masud HaCohen Elhadad. With the passing of Rabbi Mas’ud HaCohen Elhadad in 1926 was appointed head of the Kabbalist Yeshivat Beit El. Towards the end of his life, when he was the “old Kabbalist”, he sent Rabbi Elchanan Wasserman his writings in Kabbalah anonymously, so that the latter would review and criticize. Finally, Rabbi Wasserman learned about the shipper, and from 1935 they exchanged letters in Kabbalah. His son is the Mekubal Rabbi Ovadia HaDaya.
