Rabbi Yosef Zundel of Salant (1789-1865), one of the great students of Rabbi Hayim Volozhin, Founder of the Moral Movement, was referred as ‘The Third Mouth of the Gr”a’. After the death of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, he moved to the city of Posna to Rabbi Akiva Iger, to learn from his method of teaching and his Righteousness. Was Rabbi of Rabbi Israel of Salant. In 1837, when he was 52 years old, he immigrated to Eretz Israel and settled in Jerusalem, where he served as a Moreh Horaha for the Ashkenazi community in Jerusalem.
