The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Ber Shahan of Shasburg, the distinguished disciple of Rabbi Yehuda Assad, who writes about him in several answers: “My disciples the great Rabbi, who is extremely in the Torah and full of pure awe and glorious wisdom”. Dozens of answers to him in the responsa of Mahar”i Assad in which he refers to him with extreme titles. Also was a disciple of the “Ketav Sofer” Who wrote about him: “Our extremely great disciple Morag Harutz.” From the rabbis of Vienna.
Recipient of the book Rabbi [Chiya] David Halevi Spitzer, from Pressburg. Immigrated to Jerusalem in 1873. Author of the book “HaNivreshet” (about the times of the day) which was published with the consent of the Maharil Diskin and the sages of Jerusalem.
