The photographs document German soldiers on Rue de l’Halbrard, gatherings of Nazi troops near the Church of Saint-Marceau, Nazi patrols in Place de la République, the ruined Rue Royale after German bombings, the city hall under Nazi control, the bombarded Halles district, Avenue Bannier after shelling, Rue de l’Halbrard following an airstrike, Nazi troops patrolling near the cathedral square, Rue Jeanne d’Arc, and other notable locations across the city. All photographs are captioned on the reverse in print.
