A book by a Syrian traveler in Eretz Israel documenting the typical everyday manual labor of the inhabitants of Eretz Israel in the 1930s. Haddad wrote the descriptions in the book at the actual places he visited at the time he visited them, and he describes many detailed scenes of the customs of the country's various religions, and in particular everything related to the different crafts they engaged in. The book is accompanied by photographic plates documenting the crafts of the country's inhabitants - collecting corn, plowing, sowing, spinning, commerce, and more.
