A magnificent album includes 12 picture plates describing the life of the Jewish family in Germany in the 19th century by the ‘first Jewish painter’ Moritz Daniel Oppenheim [1800-1882]. Among the scenes: Bar Mitzvah, Shabbat at noon, at the Rebbe’s, a wedding, a disciple, and others.
Plates 30×40 cm, Thick, high-quality leaves with a red frame. Original cover decorated with gold letters. A slight tear in the folder spine. General condition good – very good.
