10 rare jewish New Year postcards. Various publishers and locations, early 20th century.

New Year postcard featuring images of B. C. Whitney, Kathryn Osterman, and Fred W. Mace – Vaudeville performers – the popular entertainment world in the United States in the early 20th century (singers, comedians, stage actors, etc.). Printed especially for Rosh Hashanah with the Hebrew date indicated (1 Tishrei). Sent and postmarked in Bloomington on September 29, 1905, precisely on the eve of the holiday.

A folding New Year postcard including a festive menu given to diners at the Richelieu Hotel restaurant in San Francisco (a luxury hotel that operated in the early 20th century). Dated September 28, 1924. Includes a classic French menu and New Year greetings in Hebrew and English.

An official postcard מטעם the New Villa Kosher Hotel in Michigan, sent for Rosh Hashanah 1934, with greetings in Hebrew and English, as well as a handwritten New Year greeting in Yiddish.

An official postcard for Rosh Hashanah 1936 on behalf of the Colonial Hotel and Mineral Baths in Mount Clemens, Michigan, with a printed New Year greeting in Hebrew and English and a menorah emblem on the verso (sent by mail).
