A ‘Shana Tova’ card in the form of an opening window with a 12-page with illustrations scenes of milestones in the life of the Jew from birth to old age, and ‘Shana Tova’ greetings in Yiddish. Poland (probably published by “Yehudia” Warsaw), early 20th century. extremely rare.

The painted scenes describe one after the other in chronological order the path of the Jew’s life from birth to elderly, beginning with circumcision, as a child playing in the yard, on the way to school, on the day he begins to learn Chumash, during the shiduchim period, the wedding, and finally as a grandfather to his grandchildren. Each scene is accompanied by a short section in Yiddish. On the back of the card is a handwritten blessing from a father In Lomza to his sons from a distance: “Lomza, my dear sons, accept our warm and affectionate greetings for the coming new year upon us, G-d willing, and next year we will already wish each other word to mouth, your father Avraham Yitzchak.” The window in the front designed in the form of a couple is traveling in a car and a “Shana Tova” greeting in golden letters, and in prominent designs.
