The Ga’on Rabbi Moshe Hersch Fuchs Av Beit Din of Grosswarden (1843-1911), a disciple of the ktav Sofer, one of the greatest rabbis in Hungary and Transylvania, served as rabbi of the city of Grosswarden for thirty years. He also studied with the Maharam Shik and Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Menheimer, Av Beit Din of Ungvar. his responsa, ‘Yad Rama’, printed in Grossvardine in the year 1940.
