Photographs: German civilians carrying a dead prisoner to the burial site in the Landsberg concentration camp – April 1945; in the liberated Dachau concentration camp; the bodies of deportees laid on stretchers before being loaded onto carts for burial; an emaciated survivor in the Dachau death camp alongside his liberator; German civilians from Weimar brought by the Allied forces to the Buchenwald camp to view the bodies of the victims and what their people had done; the bodies of victims lying on the ground in the Dachau camp as they were found by the Allied forces.
