50 early postcards showing different types of trains that were produced in the second half of the 19th century – the beginning of the 20th century. The postcards mainly depict European trains that operated in England and France, and they were issued in 1900-1910.
Each postcard contains an accurate description of the structure of the locomotive, the number of cylinders in the engine, the type of train (freight train, high-speed train, etc.), in some of the postcards the train and locomotive workers are even photographed. On the back of some of the postcards there are even additional data about the photographed train. An impressive collection.
The postcards were not mailed, overall condition very good.
