Both volumes are richly illustrated with engraved steel plates depicting biblical sites (the Tabernacle, Ark of the Covenant, Incense Altar), local inhabitants in traditional dress, landscapes and views of Jerusalem, as well as a fold-out map of the Tabernacle and its vessels.
