A harsh anti-Semitic publication based on the conspiracy in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion regarding the “gold standard.” The author cites excerpts from the protocols discussing how Jews supposedly control international gold to manipulate silver prices according to gold values and proposes a new economic strategy for Germany—detaching from the gold standard to thwart the Jewish conspiracy, which, according to him, had already taken shape in Germany. The author quotes from The Protocols, where the so-called “Elders of Zion” allegedly state:
“To harm non-Jews, we have caused widespread disruptions (crises) in economic life. We used the simple method of extracting all the gold we could from the mines. Enormous sums were hoarded by us while non-Jewish nations remained destitute and ultimately had to request loans from us, the Jews. With these loans, non-Jews incurred significant interest obligations, placing a heavy burden on their national budgets and eventually making them entirely dependent on the great lenders—the Jews…”. He further cites additional passages where Jews allegedly express joy over their successful scheme:
“We have achieved what we wanted through the indifference and short-sightedness of non-Jewish rulers… We have placed all non-Jewish states under such debt slavery that they will never be able to free themselves from it.”
Based on these claims, the author asserts that the Jewish conspiracy had already succeeded in Germany: “Every reader must agree with me when I claim that today’s state affairs are linked to the conspiracy of ‘The Elders of Zion’.” As a countermeasure against the “Jewish plot” to dominate global economies through the gold standard, the author proposes issuing a new currency based on the size of the German population. In his view, the currency “could be made of paper, wood, or metal.” He calls this idea “The Gold Standard” and notes that it had already been proposed by prominent German figures, such as General Ludendorff. After a detailed explanation of how Germany’s economy could survive the Jewish conspiracy, he writes:
“What we must achieve is the complete liberation of the German economy and the German workforce from the claws of global capitalists of all kinds, whether they are called Judah, the Freemasons, Rome, Christianity, or something else. But this can only happen through the immediate abolition of the gold standard and the creation of an internal currency based on German values… Every German must confront these questions, recognize their essence, and then fight. Everyone can obtain the weapon for this battle if they wish…
The sooner German blood begins to awaken again, the faster the chains of enslavement will be broken, and we will once again be a free people on German soil.” The pamphlet is filled with anti-Semitic rhetoric and fear-mongering, warning that unless Germans act quickly to save their economy from the “Jewish claws, ” it will inevitably fall into Jewish hands, leaving Germany with no way back.
