Published by O.P.G., Paris. The booklet released in a luxurious edition of 500 non-commercial copies numbered 1-500, and 1000 additional copies on glossy paper numbered 500-1500. The copy before us numbered 602.
The photographs are all described in English and French. In the photographs: German soldiers fleeing Paris, French soldiers in the police yard preparing for a shootout, French citizens dismantling fortifications and participating in the war effort, celebrations for the end of four years of occupation, German cars being captured by French citizens, 14-year-olds joining the liberation of Paris, the medical corps evacuating wounded during the battles , German prisoners being led through the streets, exciting victory celebrations, a minute’s silence in memory of the fallen, photographs of street posters calling for the liberation of France, and more.
