Three Real Photo New Year Postcards – Portraits of Well-Wishers with New Year’s Blessing. Tel Aviv, 1930 and 1935.
Two of the postcards feature photographs of the well-wishers surrounded by images of Old Jerusalem, including Rachel’s Tomb, the Western Wall, Yad Avshalom, and Jaffa Road. The 1935 postcard includes an illustration in the style of Ze’ev Raban, depicting a pioneer sowing the land against the backdrop of a rising sun, accompanied by a New Year’s greeting in Hebrew and English.
