The leaves of the book contain dozens of unidentified glosses in a Sephardi Handwriting from the period, from a writer who is clearly knowledgeable about the wisdom of Kabbalah and secret.
The Author – Kabbalist Rabbi Eliahu de la Rosa passed away on 17 Cheshvan 1786 from the Sages of Salonika, immigrated to Jerusalem and studied with R. Shalom Sharabi and the Chida. One of the Kabbalists of the Beit El Yeshiva, and was considered the right-hand man of Rabbi Shalom Sharabi-the Rashash. Stories of miracles and wonders were associated with his name, and he was a wonder maker in his knowledge of Kabbalah and most of his holiness.
