Two photographs of the entrance to the ‘Balfour’ – a Jewish-British headquarters during World War II. London [1940s].
In one, officers are seen entering the headquarters gate, in the other, brigade soldiers are seen next to British soldiers on the entrance floor. Above the entrance door is a large flag with a Star of David, and the British flag.
Size: 21×16 cm, and 25×20 cm. Slight tear in one of the photos below right. general condition good.
