A book with 150 important photographs of Jerusalem and its surroundings by the author, which were first published in this edition, and not known from any other source, as well as many drawings – Jerusalem Jews of various ethnicities in traditional clothing, crowded markets in late 19th century Jerusalem, interesting landscape photographs, and many more. Many of them are large photographs on boards covering an entire page, and the rest are integrated in the body of the text. The text contains important quotes from famous personalities about Eretz Israel and its future.
