An important letter signed by Rabbi Kook – Blessings to Rabbi Chaim Bezerno – Chief Rabbi of Turkey, on the occasion of his election as an honorary member of the Academic Committee for International History. Tevet 13, 1922.
In his letter, Rabbi Kook writes: “We are honored to express our heartfelt blessing choose him as an honorary member of the Academic Committee for International History. We see in this honor that he has given to kvod Torato in the eyes of the peoples the honor of the entire rabbinate, and congratulate him that he will see his world in his life, whatever he turns he will be successful, and his eyes will see the Savior come… with great respect and friendship Hak’ Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook”.
