Her film career began when a director of "Educational Pictures" visited her in dance lessons. It was the first time in history that a young girl managed to drift so much audiences into the cinema. Temple soon became a global success thanks to her high acting ability as a child who amazed all her viewers, and thanks to her talent for dancing and her kindness. When she was just 6 years old, Temple won an honorary Oscar and thus became the youngest ever winner of this prestigious Oscar. The years 1933-1938 were her glory years. After growing up, Temple left the film industry and turned to a career in politics as the United States Ambassador to various countries.
