Impressive painting from the years of World War II - a bulldog with a British flag collar, and a rooster decorated in the colors of the French flag tearing the Nazi swastika flag with their teeth. At the edge of the painting appears the French inscription: "a nous deuf" which means "between the two of us" (meaning the British-French alliance will defeat the Nazi enemy). Oil on leather.
