Owner listings and signatures on title page. At the beginning of the book after the introduction, there are 26 pages of the list of volunteers from several cities, and the author's blessing to all the volunteers.

The author, Rabbi Chaim son of Rabbi Avraham Zaken Khoury [1885-1957], rabbi of the city of Gabes. One of the most prominent rabbis of Tunisian Jewry in the 20th century. Rabbi Khoury founded the Torah VeHayim Yeshiva and charitable institutions in Djerba, He engaged in the education and printing of books and their distribution, some of which he himself translated into Jewish Arabic. He was known for his love for the Land of Israel, its sages and emissaries. In 1954, at the age of 70, he immigrated to Israel and lived in Be'er Sheva until his death in 1957.
