The author of "Pkudat Mishmere" Rabbi Matlov Ben-Menashe Sithon apparently died in 1928 and was buried on the Mount of Olives. His memoir states:"קול משמיא נפיק לשייף עייל ושייף נפיק הולך תמים וילך שאול... במבחר ימיו מדוכא ביסורים עניו ועלוב...". The Sithon Family - A mekubalim Family of the Greatest Aram of Tzoba. (The brother of Rabbi Mataluv Sithon, is Rabbi Chaim Sithon, 1871 - 1916 - a great Kabbalist, from the rabbis of Safed and the author of the book "Eretz Chaim" on the customs of Eretz Israel).
